Medicinal Properties of Brinjal

Eggplant is bitter, pungent, sweet, hot, short, sharp, oily, alkaline, phlegm-relieving, illuminating, spermicidal, palatable, heart, testicular, enlarging, receptive, sleeping, visual, gallbladder and blood-enhancing.

  • It is fever, cough, anorexia, worms, fever, heartburn and asthma.
  • Eggplant roasted over charcoal is extremely light, fiery and slightly galling.
