What is Diabetes or Diabetes
Diabetes is called diabetes in Ayurveda. Due to all these reasons such as improper diet, lack of exercise, less physical exertion, excessive stress etc., the tridoshas of a person, Vata, Pitta and Kapha become imbalanced and give rise to diabetes disease. Although imbalance is seen in all the three doshas in diabetes, but mainly the effect of Kapha dosha is basic in it and shows similar symptoms. If a member or a parent is suffering from diabetes, then the chances of getting it increases.
Causes of Diabetes
The risk of developing diabetes increases if the gland called the pancreas in our body does not work properly or does not work completely. There can be other reasons for this, but the biggest reason is the pancreas gland. Various hormones are released from our pancreas gland, the main ones being insulin and glucan. Insulin is very useful for our body, due to which our cells get sugar in our blood. Insulin works to transport sugar to other parts of the body.
Low production of insulin hormone. When the insulin hormone is less than the sugar in the cells and in the blood is not digested properly, which the energy of the cells starts decreasing and for this reason, the body starts harming. Like fainting. Rapid heartbeat etc.
Due to less production of insulin, the sugar in the blood becomes high because when insulin is made less then the sugar goes to the cells and accumulates in the blood and it starts excreting through the urine. This is the reason why a diabetic patient has frequent urination.
Heredity is also a factor in getting diabetes. If a family member has any of the parents, siblings, then the risk of getting diabetes increases.
Obesity is also responsible for diabetes. Diabetes is due to not eating on time or eating more junk food and increasing obesity. Excessive weight gain can lead to high blood pressure and high blood cholesterol levels, which can lead to diabetes. People who eat a lot of sugar, eat junk food regularly, drink less water, do not exercise, fall asleep immediately after eating, lead a sedentary life and do not exercise are more likely to develop diabetes.
At present, the main cause of diabetes in children is the lifestyle and food habits of today. Nowadays children remain physically inactive and watch TV for a long time. Or spend time playing video games, due to which the risk of getting diabetes is high. To avoid this, it is necessary to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
